Let’s talk about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Shows! I absolutely love this park and what it doesn’t offer in actually rides it offers in entertainment! This park has the best “streetmosphere” entertainment year-round out of all the Disney parks!
It’s Tough to be a Bug
This show is held inside of the Tree of Life and is partially a screen show and partially physical sets. This show includes bugs and plenty of them! So, if that is not for you, maybe sit this one out! Also, it has been known to scare the littles sometimes; just a heads up!
-Disney has announced that this show will be closing for something new, but has not released a closure date as of yet-
Animal Encounters: Winged Encounters- The Kingdom Takes Flight
This show happens throughout the day in the main hub near the tree of life! Watch magnificent birds take flight and listen to interesting facts as they soar! (Located in Discovery Island)
Feathered Friends in Flight
This is an out door theatre show where you join animal specialists and learn interesting facts about birds! They will fly around the theatre and do adorable tricks! If you have the time, definitely check it out! (Located in Asia)
Festival of the Lion King
This one is a cult favorite! Jam out to various songs from The Lion King franchise and enjoy stunning visual performances; The acrobats are my favorite! This one is fun no matter what age, don’t skip it! (Located in Africa)
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond
This show has dazzled many recently after a little re-fresh. Follow along through the story of Finding Nemo with plenty of puppets and musical numbers to keep you entertained! Plus, we love an AC break from the Florida heat! (Located in DinoLand U.S.A.)
Harambe Village Acrobats
Colorful acrobats take the streets for a thrilling performance! Captivating audiences, sometimes making you want to look away because the sheer risk is intense! Try to catch this show if you can! (Located in Africa)
Kora Tinga Tinga
This is a performance that you shouldn’t miss if you can catch it. Truly mesmerizing to watch and enjoy! The sound of drums has always been so soothing. (Located in Africa)
DiVine
This performer is one of a kind and if you don’t pay attention, you might even miss her! A stilt walker covered in beautiful green foliage and flowers, she blends into the landscape of Animal Kingdom flawlessly! Try to see if you can find her the next time you’re in the park! (Located on discovery Island)
Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe
These drummers have immense talent and are extremely entertaining! Be sure to find them the next time you are in animal Kingdom Park! (Located in Africa)
Viva Gaia Street Band!
This band causes a dance party in the street every time they play! Make sure to take the time and listen to one of their sets while you were in the park. You won’t be disappointed! (Located in Discovery Island)
